What a week.
I was working for radio and tv stations across these islands and internationally, and was information gathering and writing for the FT, Reuters, and The Washington Post, among others.
But it was a piece I wrote for The Big Issue which was the one that struck a chord with people. Here it is: What’s happening in Northern Ireland?
With one or two notable exceptions we also marked the 23rd anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement.
For now, thank goodness, calm has been restored. However, anger and distress remains, and this should not be ignored.
